The New York Subway Project: “Re-Mapping the (Invisible) Bodies of the New York Subway (funded by the Center of Digital Humanities Research at Texas A&M University)

My project, "Re-mapping the (Invisible) Bodies of the New York Subway," on Asian American Laborers/Asian Americans in the New York Subway serves to digitally highlight their presence, to recuperate the gap/absence they had in the creation of the New York Subway, whilst thinking of how transportation also transformed the ways Asian American bodies are situated.
